The horse gently puts his hooves on the path that takes us through forest and landscape, past a rippling watercourse and up over a ridge in a hilly landscape. Your lungs are filled with oxygen and your heart of happiness being one with nature.

The riding style is western trail ride which is perfect for this kind of horse and on long rides. Haflinger horses are originally from the South Tyrol and is a robust but flexible workhorse in size as a pony. We always encourage our guests to take responsibility for the communication with the horse and therefore they are responsive and attentive to your commands. It makes riding a relaxed interaction just as it should be on guided trail ride through the woods.

Day 1

From 3:00 pm. In-check at Bjorsbo Forest & Lake Hideaways

6:00 – 8:00 pm. Guided evening trail ride where we make sure that everything works for you with horse and the equipment.

Day 2

11:00 am. – 4:00 pm. Guided trail ride with lunch.

Day 3

10:00 am. – 12:00 pm. Guided trail ride. Check out.

You stay comfortably in a cozy cabin. There are 2 beds / cottage made up either as double bed or single beds. Bed linen and are towel included. Heating element, kettle and a small refrigerator are located in your camping cabin. Shared shower, restroom and kitchen is located in the adjacent service building.

Food for the whole weekend is prepared in the communal kitchen from supper the first evening to breakfast the second morning.

From your cozy cabin you have 100 meters down to the lake. You find a rowing boat moored to the yetty when you want to take a rowing trip. In the wood-heated sauna right next to the lake, you warm yourself before and after a swim in the lake if you wish. For the stables, it is 10 minutes lovely walk, perfect as warming before and stretching after your guided trail ride.
